Bye Bye Houston

Two years have gone by. I just cannot believe how fast it went. I was so scared at the beginning. I remember thinking: how are my kids going to adjust? I don't know how to cook... clean... or even drive!... but I learnt and the kids did just fine too. I will always be grateful to all of you who helped me and my family on this incredible journey.
Living in Houston was amazing but it was specially good because of the people we met. That's what made it so special. I could have never done it without you all.
I wanted to let you know that I truly appreciate having met you and this is my way of saying THANK YOU... you all played a very special part! If you are reading this, know it's because you're one of those people that have touched us in one way or another.
I apologize to those whom I left without saying good-bye to. The last 2 weeks were hectic and also very emotional.

Texas will always be in our hearts.

Let's keep in touch and take care,

Daniela

Hola Daniela! I've been visiting your blog and I find it amazing. This is very neat, you guys put a lot of effort in this and it denotes the passion you all have for life and for all you do. Thank you very much for sharing your experiences; it's fun and very interesting to read and the images are extraordinary (you should copyright those pictures!)
Your farewell words to Houston and the people you met makes me feel included.
Hardly a day passes by when Francisco does not say anything about Gabriel and how much he'd like to see him again someday.
I wish all the best for you and your family. Take care and remember that you have a friend in Katy.
Un fuerte abrazo
